SICET (Tenants' Union, Home and Territory) is the tenants' union founded by CISL in the 1970s to defend and assert the right to housing, the social use of land, and to protect tenants in their relationships with both private and public landlords.
It bargains collectively with large real estate developers, municipalities, regions, and the government, including through agreements and conventions, to secure fair rents and improved rental standards.
It promotes and negotiates local and environmental housing policies to safeguard housing, ensure the livability of cities, and protect urban environments.
It represents the needs and interests of housing and the territory.
